About Integrated Therapies

About Naturopathic Iridology
The eyes can be read holistically to assess imbalances of the body, our strengths and weaknesses, the functional weaknesses of our tissues and organs. An analysis can guide us to the best use of foods, herbs and other therapies.

What is Reflexology and Cranial-Sacral Reflexology?
Reflexology uses precision pressure on the hands and feet to catalyse healing
changes within the body. Cranial-Sacral Reflexology works with special reflexes
to engage with and influence the Cranial-Sacral movement of the Cerebral-Spinal
Fluid, which profoundly benefits the organism.

A treatment will help the body clear the root causes of or relieve many symptoms and conditions, especially back pain, stress, headache, digestive disorders, menstrual imbalances and effects of the menopause.

About Herbal Medicine
Herbs have dynamic healing effects on our bodies. This oldest of
healing methods stimulates the body to cleanse and tone, to clear
blocages and eliminate toxicity and infections. Their properties
soothe inflammation, relieve tension and pain and correct
imbalances which compromise healthy function. They can form part of a
holistic weight-reduction programme.

I have helped people with many conditions over the years, including, poor sleep, indigestion, headache,
allergies and respiratory ailments, reproductive problems, and many others. Please call to discuss if herbs could be of help to you. All
prescriptions are individually presecribed for each patient.

About Aromatherapy
Fragrant extracts from aromatic plants, such as lavender,
rosemary, thyme, have many therapeutic effects: fighting
infections, clearing congestions, easing aches and pains.
These pure essences can be combined with massage for
powerful healing and restoration, and also prescribed for
daily use at home in baths, inhalations and skin care. All
preparations are individually formulated.

Aromatherapy affects mental, emotional as well as physical conditions
so can help with ADHD, and learning difficulties. It is a
unique body-mind therapy.

About Remedial Massage and Connective Tissue work
Massage can be enjoyed simply as a relaxing
and rejuvenating experience or, in skilled hands
can relieve both deep-seated muscular tension and tissue
adhesions which can be the cause of back aches, headaches,
and joint pain.

What is Ayurvedic Medicine?
The healing system of India works with each individual’s constitutional
make up or prakriti, and uses herbs, massage, dietary therapy, meditation,
cleansing and tonification programmes to heal at a very deep level.
Ayurveda is based on a profound spiritual understanding of human life and
treatment leads to greater self-awareness of one’s own natural balance and
life potential.

What is Lymphatic Drainage?
A unique light touch massage used for fluid congestion in the system
(post-operative, post-injury swellings, oedema, swollen glands, chronic catarrh, sinus blockage, labrythnitis.) The treatment is also excellent for stress and pressure headaches.

It increases the effectiveness of weight-loss programmes and enhances the beauty and integrity of the skin.
